Our Philosophy

Adaptive Grazing-kinlochfarm

Adaptive Grazing

Our pastures are living laboratories, and we graze our cattle as herd animals would have moved through our region centuries ago. We utilize rapid movements, followed by extended rest and recovery periods to stimulate an abundance of above ground and below ground life in our pastures.

Regenerative Agriculture

We manage our cattle in a way that supports important ecological cycles, including the sequestration of carbon and the process of photosynthesis.  By farming with nature, we seek to protect the health of our planet. We take a long-term view, seeking to mitigate climate change, conserve water, and enhance the biodiversity found in of our ecosystem.

Ecosystem Restoration

We have ongoing restoration efforts throughout our landscape to restore hundreds of acres of land, that was once degraded and invaded into thriving landscapes that are abundant with native species, pollinators and wildlife. We partner with local research organizations to continue to monitor the outcomes of our restoration efforts.
