Regenerative Beef

Our Commitment

100% Grassfed Beef

Our cattle are selected for genetics that have evolved to thrive in our environment, eating grass, native plants, and forbs. Our grassfed beef is naturally nutrient-dense, with a distinctive flavor that reflects the terroir of our region.

Whole Animal Philosophy - kinlochfarm

Whole Animal Philosophy

As hands-on farmers and long-term land owners, we live in close proximity to our animals. Viewing them as more than just livestock, we follow ethical principles in caring for our cows and hold that thriving and healthy animals perform best within our ecosystem. To that end, we carry the Animal Welfare Approved certification from A Greener World. We honor the lives of our animals by making use of each part, from “nose to tail.”

Nutrient Density

Our beef is filled with important minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins, including high omega-3 to omega-6 ratios, beta-carotene, vitamin E, K2, and CLA. Grassfed beef is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and acids that reduce oxidative stress, which are important for human health and longevity. In partnership with Utah State University’s Food Metabolomics lab, we are measuring the concentration of these minerals, antioxidants and vitamins.

Animal Welfare Approved and Certified Grassfed

We carry two certifications from A Greener World, Animal Welfare Approved and Certified Grassfed. Each of these certifications audits different aspects of our beef program. Animal Welfare Approved ensures that we’re using the highest standards in animal welfare throughout the lifespan of the lives of our cattle. From conception to abattoir, Animal Welfare Approved audits and monitors the entire process. Certified Grassfed ensures that there is another layer of trust in our products that our cattle consume only grass throughout their entire life and we go about managing our grasslands to complement the nutritional needs of our cattle.
